Rhinoplasty in Sacramento California

Posted by Dr. Perry in Rhinoplasty

Surgery of the nose is a delicate and precise procedure that requires a certain acumen or knowledge. Dr Charles Perry of Chrysalis Cosmetics has devoted a large portion of his practice to rhinoplasty surgery and prefers the endonasal rhinoplasty or closed rhinoplasty approach to nasal reshaping. At his office in Sacramento California where he and his staff at Chrysalis Cosmetics service the regions of Folsom, Roseville, El Dorado Hills and Stockton his operative suite and instruments are custom made to improve the results under his hands. We do offer open rhinoplasty and prefer this when shaping of the nasal tip and for fixing the crooked nose. Both procedures can be performed under general anesthesia or if you prefer awake or twilight anesthesia. Dr Perry usually performs the rhinoplasty procedure under general anesthesia as he feels more comfortable with the safety of the anesthetist in control of your airway and with you asleep and comfortable as the procedure can take up to 2 and a half hours to complete.

At Chrysalis Cosmetics your nose is evaluated on the outside and the inside during your consultation for endonasal rhinoplasty. Pictures are taken of the nose and potential results can be reviewed. The procedure and the recover following your nasal shaping will be reviewed with you by the staff as well as Dr Perry. In general most people take a week out of their lives to heal. This allows for most of the swelling to resolve and the occasional bruising around the eyes to subside. The newly formed nasal bone and shapely nasal cartilages are allowed to heal as the swelling resolves. The shape of the nose will become more formed as time passes and the results even more dramatic in most cases.

We know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, however some tenants due apply; symmetry, proportionality, a dorsum with a slant matching the ears, a nasal size of approximately 1/3 of the vertical height of the face and a nostril 2/3 the height of the nasal base. Let us help you shape your nose and create facial balance and harmony. We look forward to meeting you. Visit our web site www.916cosmeticsurgery.com.
