This spring we are witnessing more and more people realizing the benefits of plastic surgery through abdominoplasty (tummy tucks) in Sacramento California.

It is exciting this year to witness so many women and men looking their best through removal of unwanted skin and or fat. For some it is after having children, for others it completes the weight loss process. Whatever the reason for a tummy tuck at Chrysalis Cosmetics we are excited for you and want to help you make this change possible.

Recently, a fit woman in her sixties whom had several children wanted to reduce the excess skin and improve her little abdominal pouch. After an examination and a thorough discussion of options she decided that an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) would give her the best results. We were excited to assist her achieve her goals! Her recovery was uneventful and her result is spectacular. We are all excited to see her physic and posture improve and her confidence with Yoga as well.

Often muscles of the abdominal wall will be tightened to enhance posture and waist line when appropriate. On occasion liposuction is utilized to improve the overall shape of the waist line and bring out the hips or thin the thighs and or back. Recent modifications such as continuous analgesia pumps have allowed people to recover in a more comfortable manner as well. At Chrysalis Cosmetics we are utilizing the bidirectional sutures which have enhanced the healing in most cases. On occasion a drain may be required to improve the result however placement has allowed for a more convenient removal. Recently we have been utilizing the Megadyne cautery blades for a more precise dissection as well. Spring is such a great time for transformations, let us know if we can help.
