Can I Change Breast Implant Size After Breast Augmentation

Posted by Dr. Perry in Breast Augmentation, Breast Augmentation Revision, Breast Implants

Blog Post 2One thing in life that’s certain is change. Seasons change, fashions change, and sometimes your preferences in breast size change. If you find that you desire bigger or smaller breast implants, or if you want to remove your breast implants entirely, our board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Charles Perry, may be able to help. At our state-of-the-art practice, he performs breast revision surgery, a procedure designed to modify the results of an initial breast augmentation.

Women who seek to modify their breast implant size usually do so several years after their surgery, sometimes decades later. Women who were conservative about their implant size to begin with may wish to go a size or two larger. Women who would like to go smaller, or to have their implants removed, often do so because their lifestyles have changed and they feel that breast implants no longer represent who they are as a person. All of these are valid reasons to consider a change.

When you arrive for your initial consultation, Dr. Perry will discuss your concerns and gather additional information about what you like and don’t like about your current breast size. He will then customize a treatment plan based on your anatomic indicators and desired outcome. Your comfort during this process is a high priority, and we will make every effort to help you achieve an outcome that makes you feel confident.
