Latisse®
LATISSE® is the first and only clinically proven and FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis (inadequate growth of eyelashes). This topical treatment is designed to help with the growth of longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. LATISSE® is applied daily at home for about four to eight weeks. Once you have attained the desired results, the applications of the LATISSE® solution can be made less requently. The best results are typically experienced after about 16 weeks of use.
Side effects including skin darkening, redness, and irritation have affected some patients who use LATISSE®. There may also be the potential for increased brown pigmentation in the iris after using this product. Dr. Perry will meet with you to discuss all aspects of LATISSE® in an initial consultation and answer your questions.
