Robust, cross-linked hyaluronic acid formulation with lidocaine provides long-lasting results and a comfortable injection experience. Elevess provides immediate results with minimal to no downtime. In extension study, no adverse events related to treatment were observed at 9 and 12 month follow-ups. The most common side effects were injection site reactions of swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness. Which is similar to other facial fillers and cosmetic products such as Botox. This product should not be used by patient with severe allergies to Streppicoccus or other gram positive bacteria. It is also recommended that patients refrain from Aspirin a week before the injection and avoid heavy physical activity or alcohol consumption following the injection. Ice is often helpful following the injection to reduce some of the swelling than can occur following the procedure.
Elevess Composition
Hyaluronic acid produced by Streptococcus equi (bacterial fermentation) is cross-linked and suspended in a buffer solution at a concentration of 28 mg/mL.
