DR. CHARLES PERRY: At Chrysalis Cosmetics when we approach facial rejuvenation we really want to achieve something that’s natural and often times that can be as simple as adding a little BOTOX, relaxing some of the muscles, adding a little volume to underneath the eyes or around the lips. It can also involve moving the soft tissues that have fallen down around the neck back up to the cheeks. We want to achieve that natural look for you. Sometimes I think it’s helpful if you bring in a picture from 10, 15 years ago. That gives us an idea of what it is we’re out to achieve. We can kind of go through a lot of different options to get there.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: Rhinoplasty is one of my favorite procedures and really the goal of rhinoplasty is to provide more harmony to the face. When a good rhinoplasty has been done often no one will know but they’ll notice other things about your looks. They’ll notice your eyes more, your smile more. And those are the kind of compliments that I love to hear from patients.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: At Chrysalis Cosmetics we enjoy rejuvenating the face. The most important things is to understand what it is your looking for and then we’ll look at the ways that we can achieve it. Often times we’ll assess the skin quality and the tone and the texture and see if we can’t enhance that either through skincare products or laser or chemical peel. We may want to add some volume or take away some volume from the face to achieve the look you want and we’ll assess that. We’ll also assess the different option for surgical procedures such as a brow lift, blepharoplasty or a facial tightening procedure. But whatever it is that you’re looking for there are multiple different options for you to choose from. We’ll lay them out and develop a plan that works for you.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: Male breast reduction is a common procedure that people request. Often we do this for people who despite losing weight have a little extra breast tissue that bothers them when they are working out or wearing a t-shirt or they are unable to take their shirt off. It’s usually a quick procedure, usually requires a little bit of liposuction and a little down time but it’s really nice to be able to see that self-confidence return.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: The breast lift is often used for people who have their breasts are a little droopy. Often we look to see where the nipples are in relation to the breasts and if they are pointing to the floor often times a lift is necessary. We can kind of tighten up the extra skin and put things back to where they once were. When considering a lift often we also consider adding a little volume to the breast as well so that we don’t have to lift things quite as far or to give that upper pull fullness, that cleavage that a lot of women like.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: At Chrysalis Cosmetics breast enhancement is one of the most common procedures we perform. It’s always exciting to see people after their procedure fitting into that cup size that they have always wanted to be. We love seeing the pictures of the swimsuits and things that the people are now able wear. In general most patients are younger and they are really looking for just a little more fullness, a little more size to their breasts or to replace what they’ve lost after having children. It’s usually an in and out procedure. You go home the same day.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: Cosmetic surgery often enhances someone’s life. It can enhance their self-esteem. One of the roadblocks to cosmetic surgery is often finances. Today there are a lot of different options to get around this hurdle. Financing a cosmetic procedure to me makes sense because you are investing in yourself.
On your day of surgery at Chrysalis Cosmetics our whole staff will be focused solely on you. We are here to meet your needs. After all your questions are answered and you’re comfortable we’ll take you into the operating room and you’ll either have a general anesthetic or a local anesthetic. It’s up to you. We want you to be comfortable. Again, this is an elective surgery so your comfort is so important to us as is the safety. After surgery you’ll be in a private recovery room. Your friends and family can join you there at that time. When you’re ready to go home you can go home. We’ll be constant communication after the surgery to help you in your recovery process to give you the best outcome possible.
DR. CHARLES PERRY: I think one of the reasons that Chrysalis Cosmetics does so well or takes such good care of patients is that once you come visit us or once you become one of our patients your needs are very important to us. DR. CHARLES PERRY: One of the benefits of being a cosmetic surgeon is being able to see the transformation people undergo after their procedure. It’s amazing to see what a little fine tuning of some extra skin or a bump or enhancing an area of the body can do for someone’s self-confidence. We’re not all born the way we want to look. We’re not all born the way we feel. Being able to change that to make that more harmonious is pretty incredible and the changes we get to see everyday here are just amazing.
